Tijarah Al-Amin — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tijarah Al-Amin ("TJA," "we," "us"), operated by iSpace Digital Capital Sdn Bhd ([COMPANY REGISTRATION NO.]), collects, uses, and protects personal data in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. Information we collect

  • Contact details (full name, email, phone).
  • Account credentials or Google auth data.
  • Identity/business verification data: Personal members provide MyKad/IC number; Business members provide SSM registration number and business name.
  • Membership status data: Aku Janji pledge confirmation, Bank Islam verification status, reference code.
  • Any information voluntarily shared with our team or the Bank Islam PIC.

2. Why we collect it

  • To create and manage your TJA membership.
  • To process your Aku Janji pledge and application.
  • To facilitate your Bank Islam account opening, by sharing your KYC information with Bank Islam for that purpose.
  • To recognize verified TJA members on the MyTijarah (MTJ) marketplace without requiring re-submission of KYC.
  • To communicate about membership status, events, and talks.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Who we share it with

  • Bank Islam: KYC data (IC/SSM, name, contact details) shared specifically for account processing; Bank Islam's handling of data afterward follows their own privacy policy.
  • MyTijarah (MTJ): verification status only (not raw KYC data) may be checked against your TJA record for MTJ seller eligibility, matched strictly by IC (personal) or SSM (business), no cross-matching between the two.
  • We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data where required by law.

4. Data retention

  • Retained while membership is active and for a reasonable period after, for legal/regulatory/record-keeping purposes.

5. Your rights under the PDPA
